ACLS Phoenix FAQs

No. While the online course portion can be completed online, you have to come to our facility for a skills test, pass the exam, and earn your certification.

Though ACLS certification requires dedication and study, it’s not difficult if you are a healthcare professional and have prior experience or training in emergency medicine. However, if you are new to emergency medicine or haven’t been exposed to similar training, it may require more effort and time to grasp the concepts and skills necessary for certification.

You must be a licensed healthcare provider or a medical student to be ACLS certified.

Once you have acquired your ACLS certification, it’s good for 2 years. You can find the expiry date on your certificate as well. When the expiry date comes closer, you can renew your ACLS online through the recertification course.

There is no limit for the ACLS exam. You can take as many tests as possible until you pass them. But there might be rules about how often you can retake it, like having to wait between attempts.
